FURY OVER STARMER DIGITAL ID PLAN AND ‘BACKDOOR GENDER SELF-ID’

 

 

Labour’s new digital ID scheme could quietly reintroduce gender self-identification through the back door, MPs and women’s rights groups have warned — raising fears of privacy breaches and risks to women’s safety.

 

The planned digital cards, set to launch by 2029, would allow Britons to prove their right to live and work in the UK. But critics say the system could let people choose their gender rather than record their biological sex, despite Labour’s public pledge not to bring back self-ID.

 

Professor Alice Sullivan of University College London urged ministers to ensure data is “accurate and based on biological sex.” Her government-commissioned review earlier this year warned that official statistics — from crime to cancer screening — have been “corrupted” by conflating sex and gender identity.

 

Campaigners including Maya Forstater of Sex Matters warned that without strict biological definitions, the ID scheme could enable offenders to conceal their identity. “It doesn’t take much imagination to see the risks,” she said. “Once a digital ID system is in place, it will be too late to fix the problem.”

 

A Whitehall source said the cards will only record name, date of birth, photo, and address, claiming there’s “no need to include gender.” Yet the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology has hinted the IDs may later be required for broader public and private services.

So  after all the trans nonsense from the government we are back to normality due only bc best way to enforce authoritarian measures.

As I stated before Germany and France have ID cards and many illegal immigrants so what is the point of the UK having them ???

Illegal aliens don't need internet access to do jobs. They can't speak English so it's going to be manual labor. 

 

Besides, if you work for a corporation seems to me it's THEIR online identity that needs to be logged. You're on their equipment doing their work. Wherever one works you need a logon issued by the employer. Without it you're going nowhere

Have them select sex assigned at birth....and then chosen or current gender....problem solved.
