Really appreciate to know how long your passport renewal took from submission to getting the new one if you did it recently. The Embassy site says 4-6 weeks but I understand it's usually quicker. I am in a bit of a bind in that I have tickets to fly out and then on in bit more than a month. So if I get the new PP in 4 weeks I am good but, on the other hand, the closer it gets to the flight dates the more expensive cancellation will be. Situation sucks.

 

And then of course there's the shutdown. Lovely.

    Blame the Democrats , your passport will sit in limbo somewhere if submitted now.
