USA Sim For 2FA In Thailand

Featured Replies

It appears that I'm losing my Google Voice account so  I am looking for a prepaid USA Sim.  I live in Thailand and have no plans to visit the USA in the foreseeable future.

The only reason I need this Sim is for to receive 2FA texts.

I have a friend in the USA who could help me out if the initial setup must be done in the USA.

If identity verification is not required I could have my friend buy a Sim for me.

Please recommend a cost effective solution to my problem.

Why are you losing your Google Voice account?

UlrtaMobile, Mytello, Yolla are the current popular options as mentioned here.

I use Google Voice (2 numbers), and UltraMobile PAYG SIM.

Both are essentially free, UM PAYG is $3 month for 100 SMSes/100 voice minutes and 100 Mb.

Both use WiFi-calling.
