A security guard at a nightclub in Ayutthaya was fatally attacked after being lured outside by a phone call from a woman shortly after midnight on 5 December 2025. The victim, 32-year-old Suttikan Phetshin, was found outside a karaoke venue on Chomphon Road in Sam Ruean, Bang Pa-in district, suffering around 20 stab wounds and severe head injuries. Rescue workers attempted CPR and rushed him to Asia Rojana Hospital, but he later died due to extensive blood loss.

Police from Bang Pa-in station responded to the scene alongside the Phutthaisawan rescue unit, where they found two knives, a broken kitchen knife stained with blood and a folding knife, as well as the victim’s mobile phone. Investigators quickly learned from the manager of the pub where Suttikan worked that he had asked to step outside around 23:00 saying he needed to “sort something out,” despite colleagues advising against it. Staff reported that a woman had telephoned him shortly before he left on his motorcycle, suggesting he was enticed out deliberately.

The victim’s sister told officers that he worked hard to support their mother and seldom discussed personal matters. She was informed by his colleagues about the woman’s call and expressed deep distress over the brutality of the attack. She urged police to bring the perpetrators to justice swiftly.

Investigators have already examined CCTV footage from cameras outside a karaoke venue, which clearly captured key moments leading up to the killing. The footage shows Suttikan parking his motorcycle before a woman approaches him and speaks briefly. Moments later, a man sprints out from inside the venue and kicks him to the ground, prompting Suttikan to run into the road in an attempt to escape.

Additional footage shows the assailant grappling with the victim before stabbing him repeatedly. A second man in a white shirt then emerges from the venue with two women and helps restrain Suttikan while both attackers stab him again. The violence escalates when the group uses a large stone to strike the victim’s head multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Daily News reported that police have launched an urgent search for the two male suspects and the woman believed to have acted as a decoy. Investigators are working to identify all individuals present during the attack and plan to interview them in detail. Officers say they will pursue charges in accordance with the evidence gathered and are expediting efforts to track down the group.
