Sheets, Bedding And Stuff (cotton)

Featured Replies

A Yachtie friend tells me there is shop in Phuket that sells 2nd hand Bedding Supply's. (I know 2nd hand sheets sounds a bit strange :o ) Perhaps it's a Hotel Supply Outlet store, I’m not sure.

Anyone have any ideas?

HomePro I know has real nice stuff but I’m looking for something cheaper.

Thanks!

There's a second hand shop called Lumpoons on the raod between Chalong Circle and Phuket Town on the right if you are coming from Chalong. It sells a certain amount of second hand bedding of variable quality. Judging by the towels they sell, they come from the Kata Group hotel chain.

I personally think the shop is very expensive for second hand goods. You can get certain things cheaper new if they are on special offer, and despite looking in there on a few occasions, I've never bought anything.

I believe there's another second hand shop somewhare as well but maybe another poster can let you know where.

If you want new, cotton linen at less than Home Pro / Index prices, try Peenang. The name's only in Thai but it's on the left, just before Central Festival coming from Chalong. It's the shop with the beds in the front!

Why not try Thaitanics second hand charity shop at www.thaitanics.org

As for Lumpons second hand shop.... very unfriendly people, very expensive. I would no way recommend to anyone.
