AFCON Trio Uncertainty Rocks Man Utd

Manchester United face a selection headache ahead of their Premier League match against Bournemouth as manager **Ruben Amorim confirmed on 12 December 2025 that he still does not know whether Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui will be available for the game. Amorim admitted the lack of clarity is “frustrating,” saying United are trying to prepare for all scenarios with his squad as they wait for a final decision, expected by Saturday at the latest. The uncertainty comes amid other squad challenges, with defenders Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt out injured and striker Benjamin Sesko still recovering from illness. 

United currently sit sixth in the Premier League after a strong recent run, and securing a home win against Bournemouth remains a priority despite the possible absence of key players. Bournemouth sit 13th but Amorim has described them as a tough opponent with aggressive tactics.
