What's "living the dream" mean?

Featured Replies

I had a poster on here reply to me that he was "living the dream " and Inferring i am  not because I don't live in Asia , or in his case ..Pattaya !

For me to retire and "live the dream" is not to live in a condo by myself in Pattaya doing what all day ?

I'm not "living the dream" ....he wrote,

Living the dream ...what does that mean ?.

Does that have to be Thailand particular Pattaya to "live the dream"?

Can't someone retire in say Bali or Indonesia and "live the dream ?

What if someone " living the dream"  is living in a big Asian city such Manila in the Philippines?

It's such a strange saying coming from an expat in Pattaya Inferring that others aren't ... because they're not living in Pattaya

For some it means sweating on top of a rent boy in a smarmy short time room before going home to the twink of his dreams.  For people from cold climes it can be as little as waking up in a warm, sunny

  • How is the economy not a scam?

  • living the dream means anything, mopping the floor could be living the dream if happy and content doing that

It depends on what “Living The Dream” means to you.

E.g my Brother is reasonably wealthy & could live anywhere he wants but his idea of “Living The Dream” is long walks with his 3 dogs, so he’s living his dream in Rowsley which is a lovely little village in the Peak District, UK.

My idea of “Living The Dream” is somewhere where I can easily access beaches and travel to interesting cities depending on how the mood takes me so I live in Pattaya (Wongamat Beach) and we travel when we feel like it (typing this from Sunrise Beach on Koh Lipe).

Living The Dream…

Living the dream means to have a purpose to live for!

Simple as that

How is the economy not a scam?

Living the dream is not continually posting on expat forums worrying about what other people are doing.

You have no idea about women. You hired a 2.

It means someone is achieving their ideal life—success, happiness, freedom.

Like, a surfer on a beach in Hawaii with no boss: "I'm finally living the dream."

You should be honest, your life worth living is TVF & AN, remember your 60 posts a day, whatever username it was......................:clap2:

You can live the dream in Oz, you just need to have the knowledge.

I'll be back in Oz Christmas day, for a few weeks, living the dream.

I'll be in Brisbane, come and join me, I'll show you a great time.

If you have inherited the right Genes, life goes smoothly.

I'm the luckiest guy on the planet.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. 🎄

I'm so sorry for you thumbs down stalkers, I can help you with your illness.

I'll offer you to join with me for the festive celebrations, I'll show you a fantastic time

Oz is boring. A $15 pub steak is the highlight.

Perhaps for some it means things turned out better than expected.

And/or for others it means paying a young chick to sleep with you and lie about your looks.
