A burglary in Chachoengsao, Thailand, led to the death of an intruder on December 23. The suspect was fatally injured while attempting to flee a townhouse in Moo 19, Bang Pakong district. This incident unfolded as the homeowner, her daughter, and granddaughter heard suspicious noises and immediately contacted the police.

The burglary occurred at a three-storey townhouse, prompting a swift response from Bang Pakong Police Station, led by Lieutenant Noppadon Taweechart, alongside local rescue teams. Upon arrival, the police discovered evidence of a break-in, including disturbed valuables, scattered wires, and signs of forced entry marked by broken glass. The presence of blood indicated the suspect's path as he attempted to escape.

Police tracked a trail of blood nearly 300 meters to find the intruder collapsed outside another house. The suspect, wearing a red shirt and shorts, suffered multiple lacerations from glass and was taken to Bang Pakong Hospital. Despite rescue workers' efforts, he later died due to blood loss.

The homeowner described hearing the loud crash as the suspect fled, leading to significant blood traces throughout the scene and along his escape route. Police continue to investigate, working to confirm the suspect's identity and potential accomplices.

Looking ahead, authorities are focused on piecing together evidence to gain a fuller understanding of the incident. This episode highlights ongoing concerns about local crime, echoing a November incident in Pattaya where residents caught a gas thief with the help of CCTV, reported The Thaiger.
