South Korea has provided $500,000 to support flood recovery efforts in southern Thailand, including medical supplies and essential equipment. This assistance was formalized during a meeting between Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and South Korean Ambassador Park Yongmin, reflecting a commitment to aid Thailand's rehabilitation efforts in affected areas.

 

The donation is part of a cooperation programme through Thailand’s Foreign Ministry’s Department of International Cooperation. Prime Minister Anutin expressed gratitude on behalf of the Thai government and its citizens, emphasizing the donation as a testament to the strong relationship between South Korea and Thailand.
