Maneerat Visa Service.

Featured Replies

Anyone know if there is a problem with Maneerat in Pattaya. I have to renew my retirement exts soon and cannot get in touch with them. Phone does not get answered, emails do not get answered.

This is very hard to understand. They have always been very reliable and their service is great.

Yes,

I messaged them yesterday via line because the phone didn't get answered. Then I got a short message back basically saying come to the office. After that they didn't respond to my messages anymore. But thankfully, there are just as many agents as there are bars in Pattaya.

They were closed for about 12 days over Christmas/New Year - my guess is they have been super busy catching up last couple of days.

And I have always found them a bit flaky over email, facebook, Line etc..... but very good in person in the shop

I was in there today, looks like they have re-arranged the office, maybe the short term reason for a communication break down

The staff in there are brilliant

In office they are good.

On social media they are poor

So what does that mean for people who are not in Pattaya and sending in their passports via EMS for the 90 day reports? You need to be able to contact them if there's an issue.

Those people should be doing TM47s online

Was in there today doing my 90 day report (it's my 1st report since I got back from my UK Trip so cannot do online) & thought I was in the wrong place at 1st as they've completely switched the furniture around.

True, but when you live about 400 ks away...........

Actually very well connected, and gets the job done well, every time.

Management however needs to work on their staff training, one time I was sent to the bank and told to sit, then after an hour, told I need to take a number "when I came in", which is just utter stupidity, coz I could have saved an hour sitting.

Anyway, one of the most connected and reasonably priced agents in Thailand.

Got a reply to a Line query about 2.5 hours later less than a week ago. Reply came at 19:15 so out of normal office hours. Pretty good I'd say.

I attempted to use them once over a simple 30 day extension.....contacting via Messenger it was like pulling teeth

If I go to Maneerat at 9 am to renew my retirement extns, pay my 15,500BT fee the "illegal" way and already have an account with Krungthai bank, will it take all day now?

Exactly one year ago I used my Bangkok bank account got taken to the IO everything was finished about 1pm, with the bank account changing, will it be much longer this time? Thanks.

It could be as they seem to be changing their MO on an almost daily basis. It could take even longer than one day and you can be pretty sure a few more days to get your passport back with the stamp.

For example, I did mine a few weeks ago using a new Krungthai bank account. I went to their office late morning and on Day 1 thereafter went only to immigration for the snap. Day 2 went to Krungthai bank on South Road for the deposit. I was told to go there late morning but they had about 8 clients there already so some must have been waiting longer. After the deposit we all went to the Central Mall branch to get the money moved out again so early afternoon by then. Day 2 had been a Friday and I got the messsage to pick up my passport on the Tuesday of the following week.

So you can see it's not as straightforward as before and a lot will depend on what they're doing that day and the queue times in the bank.

Mine using Kbank has taken nearly 3 weeks to get back from them

I renewed my retirement Visa with Maneerat in November. It took about 2 weeks before I got my Passport back.

That's fine, that is no problem for me, thanks. As long as when I am there at 9am and get finished the same day.
