TP link Dongle

Featured Replies

I have an elderly HP Laptop, many years ago the WiFi failed Nd the repairer used a TP link WN-725N dongle as part of its resurrection. At the time the laptop was using Windows8 and soon after I managed to install Linux Mint to replace the Windows. Now the dongle has been damaged and I bought a new one, but, the installation disc and instructions are all for Windows. Where can I find installation instructions for Linux?

1. For TL-WN722N v3/TL-WN725N v3.
2. For Linux kernel 2.6.18 ~ 4.4.3.
3. Support monitor mode on ubuntu and mint.

Your install probably features a later kernel than indicated, so that Driver might not work for you. But you can try it.

Alternatively, you can just go back to Windows.
