Many of the Gazians were celebrating on Oct 7 th .

Absolutely, Nick, but this is false equivalence. You know full well not all Palestinians, nor even a significant percentage, are Hamas. We can mourn the indiscriminate vengeance wreaked on Palestine and Oct 7. I see them as no different.

I have not studied Israel's various wars with their neighbours so I have no idea which side instigated conflict. Though lobbing missiles into Iran is certainly a provocation.

When individual Jews migrated (some would say back) to Palestine, there was peace and cooperation. Joseph Abileah, for example. What happened to the indigenous inhabitants when the Jewish state was installed. Correct me, please, but isn't that when belligerence took over common sense? Yes, and under the flags of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon or Syria, perhaps the population demographics, i.e., land theft, by the invaders would have occurred, too. Perhaps the Palestinians would similarly not have been allowed to choose their masters or be granted independence as in their present situation. Which would lead to...Hamas against those leaders rather than Israel.
