Papago translation app

Featured Replies

Things move fast on the internet. AI suggested "Papago" was now one of the best translations app for Thai.

I've just tested Papago and I have a good mind to make it my go-to app for Thai speech recognition and translation. One quality it has over other apps like Google's and Microsoft is that it doesn't stop recording at the slightest pause: it waits for a little while before deciding "this is the end of the sentence". Hanging up too soon was always a most irksome habit in translation apps.Screenshot_20260126_101606_One UI Home.jpg

I added this App about a week ago. Google Translate is still simply not good enough for Thai for some reason so I also went hunting for alternatives.
