Clinton Reveals Trump Boasted Of ‘Great Times’ With Epstein

Former President Bill Clinton told congressional investigators that Donald Trump once spoke of having “some great times” with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein before the two men fell out.

In a videotaped deposition to the House Oversight Committee, Clinton said Trump raised Epstein during a golf tournament in 2002 or 2003 — years before either man would face intense scrutiny over their past associations with the convicted sex offender.

“Somehow he knew I had flown in Jeffrey Epstein’s aircraft,” Clinton testified. “He said, ‘You know, we had some great times together over the years, but we fell out all because of a real estate deal.’”

Relationship ‘Soured’

Trump has previously said his relationship with Epstein deteriorated after Epstein hired young women who had worked at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club.

Clinton told lawmakers the exchange did not leave him with the impression Trump was involved in wrongdoing involving Epstein.

Both men associated with Epstein before he pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from a minor. Neither has been accused by authorities of criminal conduct linked to Epstein’s activities.

Epstein was later arrested in 2019 on federal sex-trafficking charges and died in jail. His death was ruled a suicide.

Clinton’s Own Links

Clinton acknowledged flying multiple times on Epstein’s private jet in the early 2000s, saying he was introduced to the financier by former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, who described Epstein as a donor willing to support Clinton’s global AIDS charity work.

The former president said he travelled to Asia, Africa and Europe aboard Epstein’s aircraft but denied ever visiting Epstein’s Caribbean island.

Clinton also testified he never had sexual contact with anyone connected to Epstein or his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, though he said he once received a neck massage from a flight attendant later identified as an abuse survivor.

He said he did not know Epstein had visited the White House 17 times during his presidency.

A White House response to Clinton’s remarks was not immediately available.

The Republican-led committee has also heard testimony from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who said she does not recall ever meeting Epstein.
