Hair Transplant

Save your money, this is Pattaya. Take a look around, your don't need hair here. In fact you don't need to be slim or young or good looking. Be yourself and have some fun.

It's true that many people especially women (in Thailand and outside) do not care whether you have hair or not.

But there is only one person that matters when it comes to making the decision about a hair transplant, and that is YOURSELF.

Up to you!

I doubt if any hair transplant places in Pattaya?

But what and where is the best place to go in Thailand?

I have had 5 hair transplants (not 5 hairs 5 operations) carried out in the uk.

I would offer the following advice:

1) Take no notice of anyone who says you dont need hair in pattaya - as you know it is a personal thing.

2) Get a specialist hair transplant surgeon not a jack of all like you would find in thailand

3) dont expect too much - but the results can be excellent and virtually undetectible.

Some people can get away very well with little hair but to otheres, it can destroy their self esteem.

Wouldn't you want to be able to detect the results? :o

You would want to see something for your money. :D

I guess this is what you meant when you said in #2 to see a specialist, not a jack of all trades.

Maybe people should try sorting out their self-esteem first. You know, maybe a spot of meditation, that kinda thing

LOL, some posts in this thread are hilarious!

to the OP: why wouldn't you like to be one more of the bald heads here in Pattaya?

There are much of them already in the corporate world back home (you know the serious-looking corporate zealot with partly bald heads, the rest shaven to not look old, who tells yes to anything and works countless overtime hours for the same pay. Favorite quote: "we must follow the process". I call them anal slaves, hahaha).

The balds in Patts aren't anal slaves, they are of the bald and tattooed type!

hehehe

It is quite amazing how far people will go to enhance their appearance - of course with money you can. Many I meet who have had hair transplant, plastic surgery, etc seem to be looking in a strange mirror. Some of them are dirty and smell, rarely clip their toe nails, are fat, dress badly - I can go on on on.

Not many of us can say we are handsome men, but we can do a lot to enhance our appearance with a bit grooming, going on a diet and/or to the gym and dress well (i do not mean wear a suit in Pattaya). Just look around at the Thais - they are on the main always clean and dress well with the little money they have.

Whitethai, if your hair is falling, it's not the end of the world - in fact it seems to be fashionable to have your head shaven, or trimmed very short.

There is only one world class hair transplant doctor in Thailand. His name is Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich. He is located in Bangkok. I beleive his website

is dhthairclinic.com. While i haven't used his services, many balding men around the world have. Google him and do your research.

Alopecia seems to be a common complaint amongst Pattaya residents, with many trying to conceal it with syrups often Englebert Humperdinks circa 1970s. I believe of the more modern ones, the Roger Moore is popular and with the latest waterproof adhesive, one can swim in a 'Roger Moore'!

I think it is called male pattern baldness mate. But I do agree with you about the ridiculous 'irish jigs' and combovers. Talk about self-esteem!

That is if you have learned to swim of course.

Noticed Reginald Dwight entering the Abbey this afternoon on television. Last time he was there, bashing out a tune on the piano, was Diana Spencer's funeral and he appeared to be wearing a dead cat on his head. Seems syrups have inproved vastly since then.
