  • Diesel is more fuel efficient, and gives higher torque for those who need to carry loads. We have a pick up for the farm, great for long drives as well loading up weight for transport.

I can understand banning people filling jerry cans or containers - that actually makes sense because it stops hoarding. But limiting cars to 500 baht (or even 1000 baht) per fill is a really daft res

I would remain...

100-Percent...

In the Farang Pub...

If this were possible.

I wish ALL my glorious Topics would remain....

In the Farang Pub.

If you must know.

I'm in Isan for a few days. Several stations closed or the ones that are open have no diesel. But regular benzine seems available. It's a reflection of how many people drive diesel vehicles here I guess.

Isaan.....purely anecdotal......but where we are there's been significantly less traffic over the last two days.

And many of us would prefer your rantings to stay in the Farang Pub's men's room.

Wanted to fill the car with diesel yesterday evening, but was limited to purchasing 300 baht worth at a Bangchak station here in Bangkok.

No problem filling any our EV's with electrons.😛

For now, it’s true—much more interesting than ICE vehicles. However, since electricity largely depends on gas, and part of it is imported (LNG), prices are likely to rise sooner or later.

For those using solar panels, that’s a real advantage. But for people who need to charge outside, this could become a problem in the future.

But when food delivery trucks run out of gas, having a fully charged car to go shopping will become useless ...

Our housekeeper's husband works at a Banjak station. He told her to tell us today, the 23rd, that they are not getting any more diesel until at least the 1st.

Found this statement in an German language article too.

I can see it may be a problem if you need to recharge whilst out on a trip.

I think charging at home shouldn't be a problem. If we have rolling blackouts, then you simply charge when you do have power and use your EV to power your home water pump, refrigerator, lights and air conditioning when there is a blackout.

Time to put pressure on the UN to stop the sanctions against the cheap Russian gas and oil before the world collapses.

Just come back from the district town (western part of Khon Kaen).

95 easily available, limited to 1000 Baht, price rise to 35.5,

E20 pump is waiting for customer and still at 30.6.

91 haven't checked.

On the way in PTT was empty of Diesel vehicles.

On the way back it was crammed.

An eagerly awaited supply had arrived.

The local gas station PTT , is out of any kind of fuel,

they are getting a delivery tonight at 10 , but no Diesel,

Now the war is over according to Trump 🤡 ,the price

of fuel and availability will improve but slowly ,the price

shoots up quickly and drops at a snails pace ....but Trump 🤡

could be lying ( he's known for that ) there are no meaningful

talks and the war is still on ...giving insiders the chance to make

millions , while we get shafted ...

regards Worgeordie

On our drive through Chaiyaphum to Korat, there where no diesel at all in and around Chaiyaphum, and a few long lines other places waiting for refill. In Korat we passed 3 stations with long lines, and got topped up our tank at one PTT without a line at all. The whole amount of 11 liters. So now we are almost topped up for our return tomorrow. The lady at PTT told us they do not accept filling up additional tanks, but no restrictions on how much to fill on the car.

I really hope @riclag and @Yagoda have somewhere important to go and can't get petrol. That would be sweet justice.

Not going to happen, we are Americans. Thanks for wishing a problem on Board members because of politics. Whats next, praying for cancer?

"Board members" with a capital "B"? Are you on the board of AN?

And not sure where your leap to cancer comes from.

You support this war, you support Trump, the rest of the world is suffering huge inconvenience because of it and I hope his supporters are hugely inconvenienced by it too - support what you like, suffer the consequences. People are dying from the consequences, real humans with real lives and real families.

You wish destruction on Iran, Lebanon, and innocent people are dying.

When even Republicans are turning against Trump now and all of the US's traditional allies have turned their back, it is not because his plan is too smart for them. Support it, suffer. Sadly everyone else has to suffer too, many of them with their lives.

I reiterate, I hope you have somewhere important to go and can't get petrol.

We live in OZ, my Thai wife and I, she could not get to work today because there was no petrol, she is on $ 35 per hour, does Trump pay for that? The price of petrol is $2.60 and over $3dollars per litre. I have never seen anything like it in all my time in OZ. I have been here 47 years.

Got it. So you hate our country, support Iran and want misery on Americans. Whats next for your lot, the Komunarka?

You lost. Your little voodoo showing how tough you are on the net wish is never going to come to fruition. Your post is nothing but the final vomit of the foul ichor that is Iranian lies and propaganda, compounded by a hearty dose of American hating, Euro superciliousness and Trump derangement. They can yell F...you America all they want as they suck on a Mk-82.

PS we have traditional allies. Israel. Non cowards, with a strong military (hell an actual military) and adherence to the Judeo Christian tradition.

Yep. it is affecting real people in real ways and causing real hardship. Yet @Yagoda thinks it is great - he is willing to let those people suffer because that is what Trump, his hero, wants.

I hope people who support this suffer too, I hope they suffer more.

We didn't start the problems. The responsibility is with the one who created the issues for others

Surprised so many people still use diesel!

Me too. In this day and age I just don't get the use of diesel unless you're driving a large truck. Unless your vehicle is really well maintained it is so filthy.

You're a complete ass, you know that right? Why don't you develop some humility as well as social skills. You can be a piece of work. You wade into positive discussions and attempt to inject discord. Jesus - grow up!

I sincerely hope that the entire European continent runs out of petrol.

Ok, you are full on cult. You have no idea of the wider world and believe whatever you are told. And think that makes you tough.

Genuinely intelligent and tough leaders have abandoned you, apart from the ethnic cleansers and journalist killers of Israel - you must feel tough and proud.

Here is a genuinely tough person who has more balls than anyone on this forum, who was targetted for death for reporting the brutalities of Israel, just like hundreds or thousands of others.

https://x.com/SweeneySteve/status/2034700333000331742

Proud?

Have a look at a real man with real courage. No one in your government can come close.

https://x.com/SweeneySteve

And why do you say I must support Iran and wish death on Americans? It is the argument of a four year old. I don't hate your country, I hate your leadership and the morons who voted for it and who continue to support their violence and their irrational terrorist behaviour. You are a pariah state and if you support that you don't understand hypocrisy.

Why?

Any rational thought process behind that that you would would like to discuss?

The fact that I mentioned it frustrates you immensely is enough for me.
