‘Revolution is coming’: Iranians are ready to ‘finish the job’

Survivors Of Brutal Crackdown Say Regime ‘Close To Collapse’

Iran is teetering on the edge of a full-blown uprising, with protesters inside the country claiming a revolution is now “just around the corner” after months of bloodshed and repression.

Two Iranians who survived January’s brutal crackdown say the regime is weaker than ever — and that millions are simply waiting for the moment to rise up and “finish the job.”

“The protest that will happen will be something extraordinary,” a 43-year-old woman in Tehran said. “The hatred people have now is extremely intense.”

‘They Were Just Shooting People’

Both witnesses described scenes of shocking violence as security forces crushed nationwide demonstrations earlier this year.

“It was the most brutal crackdown imaginable,” said a 37-year-old tattoo artist from the capital. “They were just shooting people. They didn’t care who you were — protester or passerby.”

The woman recalled horrific images that still haunt her.

“Brains and internal organs were everywhere… things no one could ever forget,” she said.

The pair spoke anonymously, fearing arrest or worse if identified.

Fear And Fury Grip The Streets

Despite the regime’s iron grip, anger is still simmering beneath the surface.

Night after night, security forces patrol the streets, issuing chilling warnings to anyone thinking of protesting again.

“They shout that if we come out, they will kill us,” the woman said.

But rather than crushing dissent, she believes the threats reveal a regime running scared.

“They have become weak,” she said. “They are very close to collapse.”

‘Everyone Is Waiting’

According to the two witnesses, the next uprising could dwarf anything seen so far.

They claim huge swathes of the population are ready to take to the streets again — but are holding back until the right moment.

“Everyone is just waiting,” the woman said. “Waiting to come out and finish the job.”

War Fuels Hopes Of Collapse

The ongoing war — which has seen repeated strikes on Iran’s leadership and military infrastructure — has only intensified those hopes.

Both protesters claimed many Iranians quietly support the campaign against the regime, believing it is weakening the system from within.

For them, the real fear is not escalation — but the opposite.

“The only time people get worried is when the strikes stop,” the woman said. “Then everyone thinks maybe it’s over… and they get stressed.”

A Country On Edge

For now, Iran remains locked in a tense standoff — a regime tightening its grip, and a population watching, waiting, and seething.

But if the accounts from inside Tehran are accurate, that fragile balance may not hold for long.

Because when the next wave comes, it won’t just be protest.

It could be revolution.
