Phuket ATM Robbery Leaves Questions Unanswered

A foreign man was attacked and robbed by three men outside an ATM in Patong in the early hours of March 19, according to CCTV footage circulated online. The video reportedly shows the men demanding money, punching the victim and then searching him before fleeing with cash. The incident took place near a seafood market at around 5am and quickly spread across Thai media and social platforms. Despite the footage, local police had still not issued a public statement at the time of reporting. It also remained unclear whether the victim had formally filed a complaint, leaving the case surrounded by uncertainty.
