Isn't India considered one of the most reviled countries in the world?

Have you not paid attention to the news lately, that would be the US.

This survey from last year had China as the most hated and the US second, I expect the US to soar ahead this year

https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/most-hated-country

United States: While this country’s appearance on the “most hated” list may surprise many Americans, few Asians or Europeans will bat an eyelash.

India is 10th, one place in front of the UK at 11th.

No.

Yes, they vote for Modi :)

I think you're conflating the lack of access to services vs the necessity of having to live your life with out access to such services,

even in this photo from the US they have access to garbage disposal services, what would it look like if they didn't ? but to be fair this is in the process of moving them somewhere else, a source of great stupidity

It’s racism combined with a white supremacy mindset.

I remember, and it was not that long ago, the boss of a guesthouse who I knew very well, where I used to stay every time I came to Pattaya, told me that earlier in that week four Indians tried to rent a room together. He told them where to go in no uncertain manner.

In the 20 years I have lived in Thailand I met and knew quite a few Americans and never had a problem with any of them, unlike guys from the UK, particularly Yorkshire. Although guys from the London area and the southern part of England were a joy.

I think that's my home state of Colorado and Denver in particular! Yeah those people are a bunch of retards who willfully destroying the state and doing a welfare racket.

Not comparable to India though who literally does not know better. Americans have access to "services" because they implemented these things themselves but Indians are unable to do this themselves despite thousands of years of history. That's why so many of them are coming to America compared to the number of Americans moving to India, regardless of what your world ranking nonsense is.

Btw, are you and "ravi" Indians? I'm getting the feeling I've found the two Indians lurking on the forum. Usually people are embarrassed by the flaws in their country but Indians I've found are shameless and arrogant people so honestly it severs the right to be living in filth and poverty.

They walk on the streets instead of the sidewalks. They smell. They are racists. They cannot use Walking Street like normal people...walk into couples...ignore basic manners. They treat the Thai girls like dirt. They are cheap and always argue over posted prices. They come to Thailand with very little money and expect to be treated VIP.

I think this is cultural not bad manners. Thais always haggle or at least ask for a discount.

Nothing wrong with Indian tourists you don't see many causing problems here in Thailand

Maybe some Brit tourists could learn a lesson from them on behaviour in a other country

Ha ,Ha not only do you not have a correct grasp of the English language you completely missed the joke, not entirely unexpected however as I have noticed your mangling of my language for some time now.

I will take this opportunity to return the compliment to you, that of your use of the word Son, it feels good to be considered younger than my 80 years even though you meant it as an insult.

Ok. Hard to see humour sometimes with the written word.

I used to get a lot of soapies, and while the bathtub was filling, I'd chat with the girls. I'd ask their favorite customers and their least favorite. Most of the time they said Indians were the worst - they didn't want to get in the bathtub to get clean and were mostly interested in butt sex only.

So why do most expats and some Thais hate Indians? (especially Pattaya) I have been to Pattaya many times, never met an unfriendly Indian or 5 straws in a glass. I have been married to a Thai for about 22 years. She loves Indian food, and I love my Vindaloo. We are in the West now, and we freaked just Indian or Chinese. No Thai, why is that?

You are looking for logic and rationale in relation to what amounts basically to simple prejudice- and as such they do not exist there- prejudice is blind, ignorant and as such has no logic or reason with it

Oh and Vindaloo is not Indian (with a dot) . Technically is is Portuguese and adopted by the Brits. 😉

Backing in my younger days I met a lovely dot Indian girl in club. I got lucky and the next morning I scratched the dot and won 50 bucks!

I had a small company in the USA. I stopped all work for India owned companys. Once I found out it was owned by someone from India. They were put on the, decline all business with them. No exceptions.

Well here is another version from a world renowned Indian!

I stopped working for Indian clients many years ago because based on my experience, they are simply horrible.

Indians smell of spicy food and cheap aftershave. I’ve always been very near to Thais in markets, bus, and the homeless to whom I nearly always give some money , food, cold drinks. But they never smell bad. Which makes me think it really is the Indian food and awful aftershave that I really don’t like.

That said , a sweaty guy in a wife beater isn’t better. And dirty feet !!!

So I my genetic inheritance precluded me doing that.

I think the problem is that the bad ones ruin the reputation despite the good ones

Exactly. Upper class Indians born here in the US arent arrogant though.

I will add that nothing is hotter than an 18 year old tall skinny Indian girl in short shorts. The ones grown here tend to be bigger.

Some of us have known his true colours for quite some time. He is a nasty, spiteful old scrote, along with being a bit of a wrong 'un and not the 'full ticket'.

Well America reaps the benefits, my cardiologist is from Miami of Indian heritage. One of the finest surgeons of a certain speciality in the US who worked on a family member here is a totally cute girl from Chicago who drives a Suburu and is of Indian heritage. Nether have any accent other than a US one.

If every Indian in America was a cute surgeon that drove a Subaru I don't think we'd having this conversation, ditto for tourists in Thailand.

Oh I understand, I rode in a Lyftt the other day with a recent arrival and it was aromatic but a huge chunk of Indians here were born here so they are culturally American. Things like deodorant, non groping, non running in packs, non rudenesss....
