Without protective equipment, such as helmets, those with a feminine taste for hair styling (frequent it seems in NFL) will also be at a disadvantage. The role of Quarterback will be retained because only the captain will be allowed to take free kicks. No corner kicks. Throw ins permitted; this will retain the historic linkage to the original game (the line out). Mullets, Australian, German or American style, will be banned, because we cannot allow the mentally disabled to participate in such a sport.

I had a mate who played prop. Broke his arm in the first 5 minutes. Didn't realise until he went to the pub afterwards.
