In my experience it's pretty easy to cancel and return stuff.

I ordered a fan and what I got was a box full of fan parts.

I did a return request and they sent a delivery guy to take it back.

Very easy.

I was being tongue-in-cheek. Thought the “Thailand’s economy collapsing overnight” line plus the emoji’s might’ve given it away 😅

Fair enough. Luckily AN gives everyone reaction buttons so we can crowdsource the verdict 😂 At the moment it’s running about 8 laughing reactions to 1 angry red thumb 😅

Some of us speak different idioms which can sometimes be difficult to see through the fog of a sentence.

Fair point 😅 Humour on the internet is always a gamble… especially when I start talking about Thailand’s economy collapsing over cancelled Lazada orders 😂

This is my fault. I ordered an air frier from Lazada with my app, I made a mistake and ordered two. It is not cash on delivery and the cash has been taken from my bank. Can I just go to my bank and cancel the payment of one of them?

Or ask delivery driver to take one of them back? What should I do? Thanks.

Instead of trying to cancel... if this was not a very expensive, all bells and whistles air fryer, the ymake great presents.

My wife loves ours, because it is quick and versatile, so I would assume that this is something foreigners and Thais alike would equally appreciate.

The first three weren't right and it's too much hassle to return them!

If paying for three pairs of left shoes (not right) which you will not wear, you must have more dosh than patience.

FFS, all you do is click on Return, put a photo of the package there (you need your phone to do that), pack as well as you can, print out a return slip (not always), take it to Kex or Flash, or click Pick Up by Courier. Done. Ten minutes max.

If it had been funny I might have though it was a joke.

Ah right… so the 8 laughing reactions from everyone else didn’t quite tip you off either? 😅

Maybe the joke detector’s gone out for maintenance.

Everyone has their own sense of humor... or not.

3 total B460. My phone doesn't connect to the Internet. Nor do I have a printer. Luddite, I guess!

Actually it is quite easy, especially compared to eBay in the UK. He must accept delivery from the delivery driver, but then request to return it to Lazada online. In the circumstances they should allow this. Then you can use the original packaging and labeling to send it back, either dropping it off at the courier shop or requesting that it be picked up from your home. You will get a refund to the source it was paid from, or a credit into your Lazada wallet or whatever it is called.

Not having a printer will make this difficult; but there are endless shops around where you can have stuff printed from a USB stick -- I for example would try a photo atelier shop, or somebody creating advertising; you have them even in deepest Isaan (that is, at least in any medium-sized city). One should be able to pull data from a phone just as from a USB stick.

In case you have a laptop, you can pair your phone with it and pull out the data yourself and then put it on a USB stick if you do not want to trust anybody for giving direct access to your phone.

Thais with phones that can make pictures and then are able to send emails with photo attachments is... everybody above the age of learning to walk in Thailand. Which means, literally everybody around you will have an internet-ready phone in their pocket. Girlfriend, neighbor, random person grabbed from the street: Thais are more likely to be helpful than not, alone for the fact that the get to tell a story on how they could be a good Samaritan to a farang is likely worth the effort for them.

Of course if we talk such a low value of just a few Baht, jumping through those hoops is likely more waste (of your living time) than useful. But if the amount is higher, those would be ideas I woud try.

Have you got a PC/Laptop onto which you can connect to Lazada or Shopee, or ANY site, via your browser, I use Brave as it deletes adverts.

If the courier picks it up, many times they do not need a printed return sheet, they can scan it from your phone.

Noshowjones is probably not as technically challenged as the poster would like everyone to believe. The first clue is the posters avatar, a technically challenged individual would be challenged to to resize it to get it to go.

He's struggled with Lazada before so definitely not a techy

Possibility, though too many redundancies.

No I cannot get into Lazada, and haven't for a very long time, I have to use the App. I also use Brave for the reasons to mentioned. As for Shopee it's just a lost cause now. Same now with Temu, silly little puzzles to do there. Just have to use the app.

It works well on my PC since it got resized when the forum started it's new look. It certainly works well now. I may not be that technical savvy, But I have other talents that have done me well over the years particularly where finance is concerned, such as music etc.

What a great suggestion! Somebody else lost me at Lazada Wallet!

I think a lot of the problems stem from using your phone rather than a laptop. I don't get those verifications on Shopee, goes right to my account.

When I try to log into Lazada, and sometimes Shopee, I get a OTP code sent to either my phone or email address, especially if you do not use a phone.

A technically challenged individual would FIND IT DIFFICULT to resize it to get it to go.

I know I shall get Red Thumbs for being Grammar Police, but this is how I would have phrased this. No repeated words, as I was taught in Secondary School.

Your avatar works well on my PC also, and is possibly the most noticeable on AN.

I too made a good living out of music for almost 60 years.
