Do you believe in Anything? And, why?

Do you believe in Anything? And, why?

Dear Folks,

Is it not astounding that people believe in Anything, and usually for no particular reason, under the SUN?

What do YOU believe in, just for the heck of it, with no supporting evidence?

Would you say that unsubstantiated beliefs are destroying our World?

What can be done about this?

Should we enforce accountability for idle beliefs, far more than we do?

How many teachers and politicians pontificate and act on their beliefs, illogically, to the detriment of the common citizen, and the average gifted student?

How many times have you been hurt and damaged by others’ zany beliefs?

I am not referring to the Jim Jones types.

I am talking about the people that are in authority.

I am talking about people who express beliefs on TV, even.

How do you deal with this?

Do you just do your best to ignore them, and go about your business?

Or, do you become worked up to the point that your frustration and exasperation causes you to lose sleep, lose weight, or become obese?

I am not talking about tolerance, which is a good thing. I am asking what strategies you use to live a happy life without being bombarded by false beliefs, false prophets, and the effects of fools in authority in our world.

And, yes, the belief in God is just one of many examples, in case you might be wondering.

Best regards,

And I do NOT believe in Anything….

How could I…???

Please Note:  While I am on the subject of NOT believing in ANYTHING, I have been enjoying these three YT Vids…..The first is EXCELLENT…..by the way….

If there is something to believe in, it must be nature and the physical laws bound to it.

Spinoza: God is not a man in the sky, but nature itself, the order, the laws, the whole system. Not mystical in the religious sense, but still deep enough to create respect, humility and wonder.

And yes, I also believe in myself, and in the people close to me.

Believe in God, family, the earth's wonders and an afterlife to enjoy them more. Music, hunting, fishing, good food, friends and cats and dogs.

I believe in that you start a lot of rubbish threads, because there is a trail of evidence on AN forum.

Ok, only why left now. 😂

Mostly I deny nothing; but question everything.

As in subatomic particles that make up everything? Sure of course, that’s reality.

What is astounding is that too many folks believe in any-thing that is thrown at them as in stuff that doesn’t exist, that’s incredible.
