Israel officially a criminal state

There is actually, it’s called economics.

Israel is not an economically self sustaining state.

Take it off the US tit it sucks on and it’ll collapse.

Exactly right. The Boycott Israel campaign has so far not caught momentum. Because it was a fringe movement. However, as soon as the mainstream in the US, France, German, Britain etc view Israel as the vile genocidal state it is things will change. We already saw Germany, of all places, debating whether they can continue to arm Israel.

Israel has nothing but the economic largesse of its cult adherents around the world. When it becomes seen as the "wrong" thing to support Israel, it will feel the economic squeeze. Sanctions against Israel are coming no doubt.

Learn how to spell Jews, dufus. As far as the accusations go, the very biased UN has about as much credibility as the Israeli government.

Israel is a criminal state and needs to be abolished. Nothing but trouble since it was created. Take their nukes, stop giving them money, etc.

Israel commits neither genocide nor ethnic cleansing, so it's a moot question.

Unfortunately, they are indoctrinated into believing that because they are god's 'chosen people' , they get a blank cheque that excuses their actions, no matter how abhorrent. Just look at the behavior of the illegal settlers in the West Bank. On a side note: its no coincidence that Trump is planning to intensify his futile bombing of Iran and commit yet more war crimes after his meeting with Bibi; a criminal war monger, who cares nothing for human life, Israel's international reputation or the effect of his actions on the world economy. Its alll me, me, me for him and the pariah state that he leads.

I have faith in the jews, or at least the best of jews. I know they have a keen sense of morality, what is right and wrong. Whilst they weren't the originators and sole creators, they've had a key role in morality. And the best of jews, will eventually realize that Israel is a genocidal state that cannot be supported, a source of war and crime. Of course, for the dregs of jewry, people like the settlers, there is no hope, and they will always be on the side of evil.

The evil are the ones behind the scenes. The deep state has a good mix of all types

These people need to be dealt with in order for the best chance at peace.

Despite what anyone here thinks, confidence in Israel's ability to support themselves has never been higher. Check the shekel all time chart

It did not take a war for South Africa to implode. It was slow, gradual process, that took many decades. Israel too will fall foul of this moral decay. It may take decades, but boycott Israel will move from being an aficionado fringe movement to state sanctions and Israel will become the pariah state it truly is. Quite ironic for a people who believe they were chosen. In any event, Israel has never been able to support itself. It has always been the recipient of American money, technology, German money and technology, French money and technology, British money and technology. In fact Britain in particular seems to be infected with support for Israel at the moment.

Nevertheless, killing 21000 children, stealing land, keeping a whole people jailed in their own land, these acts will have consequences. Only a fool could believe that bombs and metal can prevent Israel from footing the bill eventually.

Soaring defense costs and debt, a high cost of living, and labor imbalances, Israel's economy faces serious problems already. War spending and defense costs have doubled since 2023, creating wide budget deficits and pushing national debt toward 70% of GDP. Prolonged conflicts led credit agencies like Moody's and S&P to downgrade Israel's credit ratings. The government raised the Value Added Tax (VAT) to 18% and increased national insurance and health taxes to cover budget shortfalls. Tourism and construction suffered massive downturns and labor shortages due to mobilized reservists and restrictions on Palestinian workers.

Consumer prices remain among the highest in developed nations due to housing shortages, limited market competition, and import trade barriers.

Large segments of the population—including many ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) men and lower-income Arab citizens—have low formal employment rates and high reliance on government stipend.

An increasing number of skilled workers and high-tech professionals have requested relocations or emigrated abroad due to political and security instability.

At the moment it is only foreign venture capital investment that is keeping Israel afloat. If the US backers would pull the plug Israel would sink pitifully.

I’m not going to waste time re-reading this whole thread, but I’m pretty sure it’s only the defenders of Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing that inserting ‘’Jews” into criticism of “Israel”.

Some of the posts in this thread contain classic antisemitic language. "Creation of the Jew state..." and "the dregs of jewry..." (with lower case j) are similar to phrases used in the most infamous antisemitic works.

Oh of course, drag out the old and tired "antisemitism" baseball bat when the truth is aired. How else to describe these settlers? The cream of humanity? Surely not.

This is what we can expect, when the defenders and enablers of the criminal Israeli government run out of arguments they will resort to the same old tired "antisemitism" slur. But this too will be useless, this tactic was used too often to be credible.

The settlers are Israeli citizens and you personally may regard them as the "dregs of Israel's population." The word "Jewry" (with upper case "J") refers to the world's Jews on whole. To associate what you perceive as misdeeds by a limited number of Israeli Jews with Jews as a whole is the definition of antisemitism.

I don't think they care about decades away. You don't know what will happen decades away. The propaganda war is a couple years in and already people are fatigued of it and not really caring what the word genocide constitutes anymore. Who cares

I think that's humorous. Sometimes I would think about decades away too and then I met some thai people and they don't. They could be thinking about decades away too in a dream and when they wake up they could be in a fatal motorbike crash the same day. I think that's why nobody here is thinking decades away. It's a better way to think because the first world's current financial and social hierarchy will be flipped around sooner than the time Israel will be destroyed. Mostly everyone will be so negatively affected they won't be caring about the middle east again, just like before when white people weren't so concerned with everyone else outside their own lives. Virtue signaling is more pathetic than anything. Why take side in any war when you aren't there and everything you know about it could be made up

I specifically did not tar all Jews with the settler brush, as I made clear there are a number of jews who will be able to behave differently to the way these abominable settlers do. Jews who can still tell right from wrong. Many of them have already turned away from Israel, and some of the very best, such as Norman Finkelstein. An implaccable and formidable foe of Israel. Despite being Jewish. Naom Chomsky is another, not exactly a defender of Israel.

But I take your point, we should be careful not to make all Jews appear as the criminals which the settlers are. This is a fair criticism. Many jews oppose Israel, and their number will increase.

Well, if we look at South Africa, the demise of the Apartheid regime took many decades. Many, many years. Israel will not collapse in a day or two. It may take decades. However, the house of Israel is built on the foundations of theft, genocide and terror. It cannot endure.

They will care. When this edifice crumbles, as it surely will.

By that time you won't care. It's a privileged thing to care about when you're struggling. Pretty soon europe will be struggling and they won't care anymore because they have to deal with the displacement from the war. The virtue signaling ones won't make it long and the people focused on their day to day struggle will have the best chance

Yes, I may get to see it still, but if I do, I'll be more concerned with not dying I suspect.

We should all care about Israel and what it does of course, since we have seen with them dragging the world into war in Iran yet again, that they have influence far beyond the size of their economy and army. Much of what happens now in Iran is the result of Israeli actions.

You should be hoping that yout life will not be such where you are hoping to be dying. That will be many people.

Also I'm pretty sure this current war happened after Israel was attacked in 2023 by iran proxy. With all the history revisionism and whatnot though, I could look at the history of the middle east if I were really bored but what does that do for me? I have a family and we are thankful to not be in the clusterfk thay is the eastern side of the hemisphere

Well, it's probably still useful to look at the history of Palestine. We would see that the arrival of Zionist ideologues spelled disaster early on. That was without almost any resources. Now they have nuclear weapons and billions and modern technology. God knows what they are planning in their febrile minds, but the take-down of Iran was predictable. Funnily enough all the evil foes of America all happened to be major enemies of Israel, Iraq, Iran. But even Americans are now waking up to the reality of Israeli thread pulling. Just listen to Tucker.
