Pam Bondi Diagnosed With Cancer Before Epstein Hearing

Featured Replies

Former US Attorney General Pam Bondi has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, weeks after leaving her position in President Donald Trump’s administration.

Bondi, 60, confirmed to CBS News that she is undergoing treatment and recently had surgery. Despite the diagnosis, she said she plans to continue working and will join the White House’s Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, known as PCAST.

Health Battle After DOJ Exit

Bondi left the Department of Justice in April after being removed from her role by President Donald Trump. At the time, she said she was preparing to move into work in the private sector.

Podcast host and former White House adviser Katie Miller wrote on social media that Bondi had been “quietly kicking cancer’s ass the last few weeks” and described her as having “a heart of gold”.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, most thyroid cancers are treatable and have a five-year survival rate above 98%. Bondi has not disclosed the stage of her illness.

New Role in Trump Advisory Council

Bondi’s appointment to PCAST marks her first announced role since departing the Justice Department. The council was created by executive order in January 2025 to advise the administration on science and technology policy.

Vice-President JD Vance praised Bondi in a statement, saying she had been an “enormously valuable asset” to the administration and would continue contributing on major policy issues.

The council’s members include several leading technology figures, among them Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison and Jensen Huang.

Scrutiny Over Epstein Files

Bondi is also expected to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Friday regarding her handling of files connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

She and Trump have faced criticism from both Democrats and Republicans over the Justice Department’s release of the records, with some lawmakers arguing that key documents were withheld from the public.

Cabinet Departures Continue

Bondi is one of four Trump cabinet members to leave their posts this year. Other departures include Kristi Noem and Lori Chavez-DeRemer.

Last week, former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard also announced her resignation, citing her husband’s recent bone cancer diagnosis.

She's not gonna croak from this.

So, what’s the bad news?

There you have it, proof DJT is a cancer on society, and apparently contagious 🙄

@wmorris61 ... that's my 👎 , have some empathy, as that's someone's life, now has to deal with cancer. Someone's wife, mother, daughter.

Ain't buying it. If it's true, my sympathies. Usually this is taken as a personal matter, why scream it to the media? Anything for the boss, eh?

Back to old DT move of running out the clock, like he did with all the other cases against him.

That doesn’t excuse her guilt.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer woman, nor one with a more charitable heart, or greater moral character.

She made a mockery of our judicial system she covered up for a pedo + all his rich pals sorry but I DONT CARE DO YOU?….to quote one of Epsteins freelancers……..

Cancer. I wouldn’t wish it in my worst enemy.

Karma doesn’t care.

She does not have any children. She is only dating and not married. Her father is dead and her mother is 86 years old and probably does not care any more.

Sorry to hear this. Get better soon.

I shouldn't be surprised but I am nevertheless shocked by some of the disgraceful comments on here, wishing the worst for someone suffering with cancer. Always bear in mind how you will feel if you, or someone near to you, receives a similar diagnosis.

Yeah, this is a ploy used all over the world to get court sympathy. The national park poachers, Italia/Thai construction guy, suddenly had life-threatening illnesses... so did the 'exiled one' (showed up in a neck brace), etc., etc., yawn. Those are just two that popped into my head immediately. I be surprised if it wasn't quite common.

Wow! A person is diagnosed with cancer and the tolerant loving left on here spews venom. I don't remember these types of hateful and puerile comments about Biden's cancer diagnosis from those on here who don't suffer from the syndrome.

Just stop with your fake outrage. Were you equally critical when Trump “spewed venom” in his comments right after the deaths of Robert Mueller, Rob Reiner, John McCain, and I’m sure others; and in his disgusting dismissal of those killed in combat and now buried at military cemeteries as “suckers and losers”? And on Bondi, while I wouldn’t wish cancer on anyone, it does not excuse her from her big role in burying the Epstein files at the agency she recently headed, and I hope that she is able, later this year or next year, to be called forth to answer for what she did there.

I don't know about outrage, simply pointing out the moral bankruptcy, and happy people are suffering simply because they disagree with their politics or life's choices, or any other reason, not worthy to endure misery.

Saying that, Cheney's passing did bring a smile to my face, and can't imagine anyone wishing him a heavenly eternal life vs burning in hell for his slaughter of humanity coffee1

2 wrongs don't make a right, and why I'm not a fan of anyone, making ass out of themselves with silly statements, wishing misery on others. A bit telling of their character, or lack of.

Pam Bondi is scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Committee tomorrow for her Epstein deposition. The committee has subpoenaed her, but the deposition will be transcribed and will not be under oath or videotaped — the same procedure used for Howard Lutnick. Like with Lutnick and Bondi’s last two appearances before the committee, the exercise will be pointless unless under a videotaped oath.

How predictable that all the #bekind lefties have come out to post vile comments about a woman suffering from cancer.

Get Well soon Pam. Cancer is a terrible thing thay should not be wished on anyone irrespective of their political opinions.

You forgot someone’s puppet, crony and protector of paedophiles. No empathy here. I offer her the same empathy as she offered the Epstein victims. Nil, zero, zilch and nought. Nada.

Epstein victims ... who would they be ? The hookers, oops, I meant, entertainment, masseurs, compensated staff ? Maybe the Clintons cheesy

There is one person who is almost exclusively responsible for the vulgarization of the national dialogue, and that person unfortunately currently occupies the White House.

If you’re willing to smile at the death of Dick Cheney (frankly, I did not rue that champion warmonger’s passing, either), then your comment about “moral bankruptcy” rings a bit hollow -- if we can all choose whether someone’s “politics or life choices” make that person admirable or utterly condemnable, then those who are now laughing about Pam Bondi’s cancer are simply exercising their freedom of judgment.

Pam Bondi is no Dick Cheney -- but her callous dismissal of the Epstein victims in favor of shielding billionaire pedophiles is a dereliction of her (former) duty as attorney general, and for that she should be held to full account, whether she has cancer or not. In another post here you called the Epstein victims “hookers,” so we know where you stand on this issue. (And that comment, to say the absolute bare minimum, is cruel and misogynistic; it’s also wrong.)

Victim blaming — classy.

Allegations of girls as young as 9–10 years old, and you’re calling them 'hookers'?

And maybe ask why Trump’s name comes up alongside allegations involving 13- and 14-year-olds but none for Clinton.

I don't think anyone working, living there was held against their will, and all could have left anytime they wanted. Not seeing any victims, just 'employees' with perks.

Some murderous low life finally dying, and wishing someone the misery of a degenerative disease, simply because you have a difference of opinion, is a wee bit different ... IMHO

Can't victim blame if there aren't any.

Allegations of ... too funny. Clinton, even funnier.

Y'all lefties have a nice day, spinning in your delusions in your own brain.

PEACE OUT

Using silly spin to laugh off child abuse isn't clever—it’s just very sad.

Don't read MSM or gossip rags, so no child abuse allegations even seen.

Have a nice day.

You obviously don't know the meaning of grooming—and it's not combing your hair.

Coincidentally, renaming victims 'employees' is part of the grooming process.

I just hope she recovers sufficiently to have her day in court. It could be interesting as this MAGA mob don't mind throwing their own under the bus. Of course a great man such as DJT would never even consider betraying his comrades in this deplorable way.

Well, if you don’t read, obviously you’re not going to see anything at all. Offhandedly dismissing women and girls you know nothing about as “hookers” seems a peculiar kind of tribal activity; perhaps you get your information from various “bro culture” websites? John Landis and his screenwriters summed it up best:
