You'd expect his opening big speech might mention them, nothing!

Very weird how that wakerfield mp stood down to make way in the safe seat.

Then starmer resigned.

Them milliband streeting et al all decided not to run against him.

Almost like someone or something has annointed him. Like a bloodless coup. 😀

It's like when Blair gave devloution to Scotland Wales (okay understood Northern Ireland had to be a seperate case), but at the time he assumed Labour would continue ruling the roost in Scotland and Wales for a long time. The sheer cost is an utter waste.

What if you get a case that you have an opposition party in charge of the devlouted areas, eg say Reform take over much of England. Then that would be absurd.

It appears you underestimated the hate for Starmer.

There was alot of constructed social media hate for Starmer, but whenever i pin point Racist Brits in Pattaya bars about what the issue was they can't really pontificate anything other than 'boats innit' - even though this was an issue he inherited from the Conservative government, and as a result of Farage's Brexit. Furthermore he has bought immigration down massively, and reduced the number of boats coming.

I had one guy say 'freedom of speech' in an ugly northern accent. Basically what he meant to say was he wanted freedom to be racist. Even though Starmer or the labour government touched any of the laws, they simply inherited them from the conservatives.

You probably need to stop hanging out in Pattaya "bars" (brothels) and talk to some normal people before you start slating your fellow mongers for their political opinions.

I had a similar issue when I went out for a drink with the Oxford branch of the "Stand up to racists" campaign group. There was not a non-racist in sight when they discovered that illegal immigrants were going to be housed in their own area rather than someone else's.

It appears you underestimate the support for z Labour.

Apparently there are already calls to get Burnam out and he's not even Prime Minister yet.

Only a General Election is going to sort out this mess that Labour have got themselves into.

They should have stuck with Starmer.

Where do you speak to your fellow Brits in Thailand ? Twitter/X bots ? Bars are probably the last social place left.

Friends. Work. Business meetings. Social events. Friends of friends.

Certainly not "Alright mate where you from?" as two 40 year old Grannys hang off us in "Me friend You" bar. 😃
