When did the Puritans invade Thailand? Sometimes it's better to just mind your own business.

Nudity should be allowed

Let's see if you still say that after a group of 20-30 50+ guys comes to lay down next to you on the beach. If we could agree only female can do it who are under 50, we might find each other.

They were quick to label her foreign. Of course a Thai female would not do that. Never. Who would ever think it. What’s worse is all the Thaier than Thai numpties on here doing the thumbs down when someone makes a quip. I mean, F-a-doodle-do, how did the human race get so F boring! You know who you are.

Why is it so difficult to respect Thai people and culture in Thailand

Porn is filmed actual sex activity,

not simple nudity.

Yes she broke nudity statutes,

but not making pornography.

I'd like to know exactly what Thai laws (un)cover nudity. Does anyone know?

More outraged Thai hoi polloi who take a good, hard look and a few pics and a video before expressing their holiness to all.

The article does not state which "secluded beach in the Kalim area" this was. We all know Thais don't like to stay in the sun so what were these folks doing on the beach.

I hope the couple is having a great time in Thailand. Did nothing wrong here, and the grandchildren will enjoy photos from the trip.

From this perspective it appears that she’s swinging on a tree branch waiting for a guy to come into frame to have monkey sex with.

Oh no ! Reduce visa-exempt to 15 days.

That should stop these antics at a stroke.

What a shame that such a beautiful shot has been so badly defaced.

Where can we see an unpixelated version of the footage? It would help us to adjudicate whether nudity should be allowed in Thailand (in circumscribed condition :female, young, attractive)

I’m forever fascinated by the spectacular hypocrisy of puritanical outrage coming from a country internationally celebrated for women whose Kegel prowess and pelvic precision are so finely tuned they could hit a bullseye blindfolded upside down while concurrently nailing down a watery-tequila.

A nation where “advanced ping-pong techniques” and a dangerously sloppy back-spin could ace a table-tennis pro!

Yet somehow… the brief appearance of nipple on a beach sends the media into Victorian cardiac arrest. Pearls are clutched. Moral guardians emerge from hibernation. Media reacts like civilisation has collapsed.

Apparently firing darts from the fuffus is treasured cultural heritage… but a flash of nipple and half an inch of beach bush? Absolute societal collapse - done - curtains (no not those sort - no pun).

Why would she need to work permit?

Shouldn’t the person who took this photo be arrested for public prono?

In public yes. Public nudity and the photographing it is illegal in th. Thanks for your curiosity.

Nudity is allowed in Go-go Bars since such long time!

No it's not, nudity in bars is illegal.

That’s a private establishment. Not the same.

Cant even get privacy on a secluded beach!!

Obviously, the beach was not that secluded.

So she flashed her pubic hair and a set of jugs, is that worthy of 30 days in the cooler and a black stamp on her passport? In my mind she has done untold damage to the image of Pattaya.

"So she flashed her pubic hair..."

She may have been flashing her roast beef sandwich.

Indecent exposure is illegal, even topples nudity is technically illegal in bars.

You really are so far out on the pedantic spectrum that you completely missed an absolutely blatant pish-take.

It was obviously jacko45k mocking every thread where a foreigner does something and, within three replies, some clown derails it into a lecture about work permits instead of the actual topic.

The joke was hardly subtle either - especially with the dig at Thailand’s “protected occupations” while foreign brass are regularly being rounded up and plastered all over the news.

But somehow all of that sailed straight over your head in your insatiable haste to try and fire a shot at other posters while having nothing to discuss on the topic itself.

How do you know she had a roast beef sandwich - the article mentions nothing about roast beef ????

..... Now, do you see what I did there ????? neus

They all have roast beef sandwiches. Pity you didn't see what I did there.

I didn't "lecture" anybody, you're the one doing the lecturing, I asked a question.

I didn't start the work permit derailment, either.

I know, why are you telling me that?

Doesn't matter whether it's a private business or not, nudity is illegal in go-go bars.

An unconnected individual coming across a screen of public nudity and taking a photo of it is not committing any offence. If that person taking the photo was involved in the organisation of the nude display, that would likely be an offence.

Thanks your curious misinformation.

Nudity should only be allowed for hot slender women and banned for all others, especially dudes doing yoga on the beach, as it's way dodgy and suspect.

Au contraire - I saw exactly what you did there.

You made and exceptionally uncharacteristically humorous remark - I simply I treated it with the same spectacularly humourless literalism you normally inflict on everyone else and mirrored your usual routine back at you: taking an obvious joke deathly seriously, draining every last drop of humour from it, then replying with the sort of pompous, po-faced forensic nit-picking you’d normally give everyone else.

She has old and skinny legs, and this is the way I would describe what is visible about her.
