I get asked by the check-in staff EVERY time, both in Thailand and Australia, and they also ask about battery packs.

Yes, so am I.

For all those who support Thailand's legalisation of cannabis, you reap what you sow.

The country has since gained a reputation as a drug destination, attracting even more wronguns to Thailand. Including scumbag dealers like this 'rapper'.

That isn't Thailand's Customs problem or concern

It most certainly is. The implications are significant. If cargo and baggage from Thailand is suspect, it will result in;

-lengthy delays to clear incoming baggage disrupting flight operations

- requirements of the airlines and cargo carriers to post financial guarantees or to incur additional customs clearance costs

There are economic consequences. If the problem is so severe, it can result in reduced flight and transit clearances.

I initially agreed with what @Nick Carter icp said, and actually I always thought similarly.

However, I hadn't considered the ramifications which could affect all passengers if incoming flights from Thailand are subjected to extra scrutiny on a routine basis.

There are enough organisations leeching off the ticket prices without adding conniving rappers and airhead dancers!

No prob, they write prescriptions after you have ordered😋

Isn't marijuana legal in Thailand ?

Not anymore. It's illegal now, .. In big quantities for sure !!

Those who sell have to have an authorization paper from the Government And I think a Medical physician has to be involved.

"Zorina later told a friend she felt uneasy about the luggage switch"

Complicit, are you kidding? Why in the world would you say "o.k. Mr. African Brit Rapper, sure, I'll check your bag you check mine". Complete nonsense.

On another note do those Moulon Rouge Patong strippers (AKA hookers) have work permits? How are they allowed to do that in Thailand?

I've never ever been asked at CHECK-IN if I packed my own suitcase, so absolute rubbish

Then I doubt you have ever been on a flight.

I really don't need to but, just for you as you see incapable of looking it up for yourself, cannabis is only legal in Thailand for medical use, with a prescription, and in limited quantities.

The problem is that a prescription for 17kg of cannabis would be illegal.

Possessing 17 kg of cannabis in Thailand as of May 2026 is highly illegal and carries severe penalties, as the country has shifted from broad decriminalization to a strict medical-only framework. Under current laws, any amount over 30 grams is legally considered intent to distribute, which is a criminal offense without a specific license.

500 orders 1oz each wouldn't

500 prescriptions for one person most likely would be illegal, as would possessing 17kg of cannabis.

"The proper paperwork"? For 17 kg, what would that be. Please elaborate.

You are absolutely right Sir, Thai's has always been known for their honesty in the, hmmm, gray zone businesses and has never been known to bent rules. My sincere apologies😋

Off with their heads.. junkies 😁

Cannibas =' junkie? I don't know where you grow up. Was it in a Buddhist temple where many Buddhists have been busted with using it?

I would never classify marijuana smokers as junkies. Even the ex president of the USA Bill Clinton admitted to smoking it and other high politicians In Australia many many people have admitted they smoked it at an early age and never got addicted to it as per an extensive survey.

In short get a life.

My son was detained for 70 days in jail in Dubai for admitting he had smoked the previous night. The dope was in his body. Eventually released after I paid GBP 23k to 'someone' to help him get out.

Yes. It's just an easy way for the corrupt officials and lawyers to make big tea money.

He is gonna get some new tattoo's on his back with all the caning he will get over the years. Might as well carry a suicide pill with you if taking these risks.

Might want to brush up on your history. Thailands been known for that since the early 60's. People trying to fly with it is nothing new; you certainly also know that those are little fish, lagniappe if you will, from the bigger fish

it must have sounded like a good idea at the time, " it will be easy money ,and me been

a rapper will increase my cred, those stupid Dubai customs agents will never catch us''

It could have been worse , 2 UK smuggler's arrested at Turkish airport couple weeks

ago, about same weight , must not have seen Midnight Express ,now they will be living it.

regards worgeordie

@worgeordie "must not have seen Midnight Express"

I was in my early teens when that came out and saw it in a theater. Completely freaked me out, had nightmares for a month.

Either you had led a very sheltered life up until then or you have a very fragile ego to react in such a way.
