Sketchup

Featured Replies

I would like to improve my Sketchup skills.

Anyone in CM use it and interested in meeting?

What is Sketchup?

If Wiki says it is then it must be so.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SketchUp

Google Earth offer a free download of the software - they own the rights to it having bought the company that do the software.

If you guys get into it you could do a full 3D map of the inner moat area and upload it to Google Earth. That would be impressive.

Good link his maps are available in a lot of places around town and I find it easy to hand to people when they need directions around town. I first met the French guy who does these maps when he was doing them in Phnom Phen. He is a nice guy and the maps are good. I would still like to see the entire city centre and surrounds done as a complete set with all the buildings. It is really useful in places like Chiang Mai to know the shop that sells the Bicycle clips is the fourth shop down from the little soi on the left hand side after the Wat. Telling people it is at 97/6 soi 3 Th Narrawat doesn't have the same ease.

So get to it guys - I am still waiting for the outcome :o
