I think what happens with alot of these that people come for these holidays and end up embelishing the facts with their mates back wherever. Then they provide an equally embelished account of the facts.

I must admit it is sad that you get these constant "I met this bargirl and now I am broke and heartbroken" stories.

I must admit I am an offender where I have submitted sleazy stories on his website. Yes mine were true, and I am not proud of them any more. That is why now I don't submit material like that any more.

I also think that when you add culture shock and having lived in an "Insular" world, some people are all at sea when they come here. And any friend is a good one etc etc.

Finally, if you notice Stickman does not print sleazy articles like that any more. I (also knowing Stick) know he is trying to grow the site and I think make it more contemporary. I hope he succeeds in getting the site to grow and mature.
