That is one truly dumb statement.

I've never had polio......so does that mean I never needed to be vaccinated against it?????

No, maybe you never had polio BECAUSE you were vaccinated. Get it? Yet with the flu vaccine, you need one every year, not once in your life like with polio

There should be a large independent survey to ascertain what percentage of the population still actually believes this BS.

I'm not trying to make any case, just stating facts which illustrate that pharmaceutical companies are private entities and therefore subject to the same principles as any private company, namely demand creation and customer loyalty consolidation.

In my old age, I will take as little medication as possible, as I do today.

As little medication as possible is most people's objective. But in your case it does not mean you avoid them. It means you avoid them until you need them.

Maybe 1% of people live to 100 and never need any medications?

But it's lifestyle + some great genes and not feasible for most people.

You've obviously never had the flu.

I suppose I'd know if I ever had the flu so it's likely I have not (touch wood). I have also never had a flu jab. No plan to do so...(hehe) under I get the flu and realise how horrible it is.

Nevertheless, this new approach to vaccines will only get better and better over time. Ahem, enabling Big Pharma to gouge us all the more.

Well I guess as there's no compulsory element............ you pays your money, you takes your chance.

I've had the flu once when young and fit.....not sure I could even survive it now.

I'd certainly hate to contract it then pass it on to someone who subsequently died because I avoided the vaccine.

Not sure I will ever need any medication, most of them are useless and only cause other issues. My dad thinks that way too, he's 74 and fit as a fiddle. When asked about it, his reply always is "I don't take all that sh*t other people my age take".

I am not putting anything into my body that will modify my DNA. The end.

MRNA does not modify your DNA. It's biologically impossible.

The article below goes into detail about why and how this is so, but the basic point is expressed in this passage:

... the science is clear – mRNA cannot change the DNA of a cell. In fact, it can’t even enter the region where DNA is stored in the first place.

Another section gives one of several reasons why it's just not scientifically possible.

To have a chance of altering DNA, mRNA would first need to change “languages” and become DNA, a process known as reverse transcription. This requires a catalyst, the enzyme reverse transcriptase, which it simply doesn’t have.

Does it say in the Bible that you will go to hell if you modify your DNA?

I understand the concept may sound scary, but here is a snippet from a quick AI search.

Many people don't seem to realize that our DNA is already being modified by our food intake. So is it against God's will to create medicines that enhance our DNA if foods have already been created that damage it?
