Yeah Pattaya and Bangkok have similar large clustiers.

Nobody complains.

They're great places to go for good Middle Eastern food.

What Thailand will probably do is to enforce violations of Israeli based businesses and land deals which is fine as long as they don't single out only Israelis, which I don't think they well.

As far as bans, the worse they might do which is still very doubtful is to reduce entry time for Israelis temporarily.
There will never be a full ban.

Sounds like the "Little Arabia" opposite and beyond the Marine Bar on the south end of Pattaya's Walking Street, way back when I was a reprobate. I believe "Little India" has conquered the area now?

There's also the middle eastern enclave on the north side of the arse-end of Sukhumvit, around Soi 3 and the Grace Hotel. Not sure if the "souk" is as vibrant as it used to be though.

Today, I read that the Israeli "influence" on Samui is significant whereas it wasn't on the radar before. Pretty sure it's what passes for mainstream media here just fanning a guttering flame. Oh, and Sondhi flapping his yap as well.

I stay on Phangan Island, and I've made it known on this forum that I do not like to eat in a restaurant where most of the customers are young Israeli men who (fact!) will be serving IDF, reservist IDF or recently-ex IDF.

I expect a restaurant on this island to have a mixture of foreign tourists (young, retired and families) and expats from different countries, and local Thais - now it's like living in Israel! If I wanted that I would have applied for the Right of Return to Israel.... (I'm apparently 25% Ashkenazi ...) :)

I didn't claim they are exactly the same .

The 2 billion USD is raised from people attending Chabad's and it goes on running costs , goes towards the expenses of running the Chabads .
