It's the Israelis that are doing the land grab. How many countries are they currently trying to take territory from? If the settlers hadn't been stealing land since forever there never would have been an October 7th.

You are quite comical at times with your perceived beliefs---gives us a good laugh anyway..thanks for that.

I was a bit surprised more western countries didn't walk out. Spain and Ireland did - good on them. All Scandinavian countries stayed, as did Canada. Disappointing.

I agree, hard to understand how the vast majority if Americans continue to support Israel and give Israel massive monthly money handouts and massive amounts of ammunitions, weapons, rockets etc.

The American Congress is bought and paid for. Simple. The American people don’t have anything to say about it.

So, what should be done about Hamas?

Pandering aside, what was accomplished by the walk out?

Human rights organizations, Palestinian authorities, and international bodies state that Israel has systematically acquired and annexed Palestinian land through military conflicts, discriminatory laws, and settlement expansion. Conversely, the Israeli government has historically justified these measures through security requirements and legal frameworks, though the United Nations and international law consider settlements in occupied territories to be illegal.

Key Conflicts and Territorial Shifts

  • The 1948 War (The Nakba): Palestinian accounts and historians report that the establishment of Israel displaced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and resulted in the destruction of hundreds of villages. Legislation such as the Absentee Property Law was subsequently used to take control of abandoned properties.

  • The 1967 Six-Day War: Amnesty International notes that Israel captured the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza during this conflict, establishing military rule and initiating a long-term occupation.

Methods of Land Acquisition

  • Settlement Construction: According to the BBC, Israel has established numerous settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, housing hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers on land designated by Palestinians for a future state.

  • Legal and Bureaucratic Reclassification: Reports by Al Jazeera detail how administrative shifts and land registration policies in Area C of the West Bank have reclassified vast tracts of land as "state land," a process critics and international experts describe as de facto annexation.

  • Settler Actions and Displacement: The United Nations and human rights groups document that settler harassment, land takeovers, and localized violence—often intensified during broader military escalations—have pressured Palestinian farming communities to abandon their villages and agricultural fields.

Hamas wouldn't have been a problem without all the land theft. So now you support killing of innocent women and vhildren to solve a problem Israel created?

A striking scene inside the United Nations General Assembly has gone viral after an Israeli delegation member was filmed walking between the rows of seats and apparently recording which delegations were no longer present during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address.
The footage, filmed during Netanyahu’s September 24, 2026

Any Hamas left will probably fade quietly into the rest of the Palestinian population after handing over any weapons they have, and wait for the Trump sponsored Peace deal.

Then wait for the Israeli withdrawal then start retraining the no doubt hundreds or maybe thousands of new recruits itching to have another go at Israel, as has happened since 1967 in Gaza.

What you have got to get your head around Nick is Israel has a right to exist but not on land that is/was populated by others, the fact that the Israeli State was able to fight and win countless battles since 1948 is never going to change that fact, and what has happened in the last 3 years has now become unacceptable to the majority of the worlds population.

Things will need to change, as no amount of Hasbara is working, the Arabs will, I believe bleed Israel dry, even the western nations are getting fed up with the whole situation, nevermind the corrupt politicians taking the Israeli shekels for their elections, the general populations are now beginning to see from their leaders actions the lobbying power of Israel and are not agreeing with it, Zionism is coming to an end, hopefully.

No, Ireland didn't officially walk out of Netanyahu's speech. One Irish delegate remained in his seat.

Ireland did not take part in mass walkout during Netanyahu's UN General Assembly address

...

Almost two hours after the walkout occurred, a spokesperson for the Department confirmed that the Irish delegation did not participate.

“Ireland has been represented in the UN General Assembly for all national statements during High-Level Week, even when these are being delivered by representatives of governments with which we vehemently disagree,” the statement read.

https://www.thejournal.ie/unga-israel-ireland-7172427-Sep2026/

Each member country of the U.N. has five delegates, with six seats available to every country in the Assembly Hall. Some countries had several delegates walk out but one remained. These countries noted their dissatisfaction with Netanyahu, but didn't boycott his speech. It's unclear from reports if Ireland had any delegates walk out.

To further complicate matters, some delegations' seats were empty for the entire session. Whether they were boycotting BiBi or had missed the session for another reason is unclear. It's not unusual for smaller countries to miss U.N. sessions due to a limited number of diplomatic personnel.

Why do you think that is Nick?

Could it be it was mostly Palestinian Arab land prior to 1948.

NO. The arabs themselves admit that the "Jews" were the orignal and still present occupants.

If a country was not present at the start. It was not a walkout. The absence allowed many countries to avoid the idiocy of a walkout, while allowing them cover to avoid problems with anti Israel factions. The actual walkout was much small than what you want people to believe.

And here we have the Hasbara out in full flow.

Israel is a Pariah State, maybe not to all the leaders of the World, I'll hazard a guess why, MONEY,

but without doubt to the ordinary people of the World they are.

Israel does not have money to purchase influence and the data supports that.

The Arabs do, but you ignore that.

Iran, Russia and China have spend large amounts on sowing civil unrest in the west.

Walking out, not interested in an informative point of view is typical of hypocrite preachers of hate and terror supporters. Good, clear, concise dialogue from Netanyahu.

Please note Israel was formed out of terrorists. I have met a veteran who was in the uk military in the late 40 s He had a clear understanding of terror.
