Hi Guys!

I've got a Linksys Wireless B switch (BEFW11S4) that I've been using on Canada's Rogers cable internet without problems. I've brought the thing back with me to BKK but am having an impossible time getting it to connect to True. I've got one of those Billion DSL modems and it connects fine if I use my computer and True's provided software. However, when I try to use the Linksys to connect via PPPoE it can't connect. The Linksys does NOT have VPI or VCI settings. Can I still config this switch somehow to connect?

If I'm reading the spec. correctly the Linksys does not have a built in ADSL modem, you need to plug your Billion into the ADSL/phone line and the Linksys into the Billion (assuming of course it has an RJ45 connector).

Goto this web page at Linksys and hopefully your answer is there (as far as configuring PPPoE).

If you still have problems, contact your ISP or post your questions here on Thai Visa. I'm certain other members are also using PPPoE.
