T-max Say Hi-speed Internet, But Still Have Slow Downloads/uploads

Featured Replies

Over the past few days, My T-Max connextion with TTTMax has gone from bad to worse. This is after getting their letter saying they are upgradeing me for being a loyal and valued customer.

Now most sites time out before loading or just fail. Others are painfully slow

I checked the Bandwidth monitor [ http://www.tttbroadband.com/test_speed.php ] and it says 1.34 Mbps, but still does not allow me access.

Even my (outgoing) SMTP server in the UK fails, so have to use TTTMax which works instantly.

Are:

1. the Circuits out of Thailand down?

2. too many other sharing my broadband feed (Called contention)?

3. we being monitored (censored) and "they" cannot handle the workload?

4. Is Pattaya growing faster than the infrastucture can cope, but service still "Promised"?

Daytime is useless, whereas "After midnight" access seems to be better (Item 4 above)
