Hello,

I would like to marry for my Thai girlfriend, but i have problem with getting long term Visa for her. I am from Bulgaria (European Union laws apply), and even with "Private Visit Invitation", my girlfriend can not take visa for no longer that 30 days period. From Bulgarian embassy in Thai, they told me that even if we marry (which i plan to do), she cant continue staying in Bulgaria and need to return to Thai again. Does anybody know way how we can trick the laws and how she can continue staying with me? I also found that Thai citizens can't have double citizenship.

King Regards...

not the answer you are looking for, but...

as an american we have a "finance" visa. allows us to bring in the wife-to-be for 3/4 months. during that period we must marry, and she can then stay in america without returning to her home country.

maybe EU offers some similar option.

We have "finance" visa too, it need bank statement of $500 000 USD to take "finance" visa for Bulgaria. This is not an option. I am not sure what to do with that Visa, as much as i read, as much i think that there is not problem, she will come here , we will marry, she will return Thai, i will go there after a month and she will come here once again. The only think i worry is Winter here.
