YES, got it done this year june.

KASEMRAD PRACHACHUEN HOSPITAL, north Bkk.

perfect work (2 sessions including tooth cleaning), supervised by:

Dr. Kanittha (Moo) - ground floor of Kasemrad hospital -

Dr. Moo was really nice and giving all information i was asking for.

she's very good in english and so is (imho) her work.

total cost was Bht 16.130,00....

AND THE BEST THING:

got ALL my expenses paid back from my (austrian) insurance company!!! :o

scampy, boy ... got it done in JUNE ... how can I know how long it lasts by now???

i was "promised" it'l last for approx 3 years then need refresh treatment.

result for me was quite impressing and after having asked my friends they agreed as well.

so - again, imho - it was worth the deal :o

Ah but do you smoke?

I've already given up coffee so I'm half way there. :D

Not familar with the "laser" tooth whitening proceedure, but with many of the "chemical" whitening proceedures, you may need to have some porcelain fillings replaced, in order to color match the "whiter" teeth. (An added expense to consider.)

Suggest you discuss this with dentist before proceeding.

scampy: no, i do not smoke (i admit this in advantage i might certainly have)

but yes, i do drink considerably quantities of coffee (not in los thow, uuuah).

Result still is: :o

another thing you should know about:

teeth where "bridges" have been implanted earlier CANNOT be bleached!

So, IF you have a mouth full of porcealin or whatever kind of substitute ... no good. Your doctor will forward proper information (at least, at Kasemrad....info talk was long and intense...)

As an alternative...Bonding. My sister had her teeth bonded 15 years ago and she still has a gleaming white smile as a result. Also, I'm not sure if this is relative to the bonding but she has had no dental work since, not a filling, scrape and polish..nothing. She smokes and drinks tea and coffee.

The downside...15 years ago it cost $ 3,400.

Of course that could mean the process is much cheaper now, or a re-mortgage is required.

But worth the inquiry,
