Just wondering what options are currently available for fathers of children, under retirement visa age, to stay in Thailand without marrying the child's mother. I am presuming here that the father is named on the Thai birth certificate. For this purpose, I am not interested in working or getting non immigrant visas from home countries. Looking for cost effective, nearby solutions to the long term visa issue.

Are multi entry non imm visas available on the basis of parenthood in neighbouring countries or Australia ?

Is marriage the only solution ?

What financial requirements, if any, have to be shown to meet any conditions to issue such a visa ?

Any other pertinent issues ?

Only if over 50..

Or by having the child use its dual nationality, enter on its non Thai passport.. go to a private school that sorts out an ED visa, then have 500k and being based as support of a child under that system.. Hazy on fact on this but know it works.
