I done did da formattin' of an 82 page text - via 'merge documents' within the 'tools' menu.

There are still many residual red bubbles in the right margin, with thin red dashed lines and arrows, etc.

I can get rid of them if I switch to 'normal' layout, from 'print' layout, but I want to stay with 'print' layout (view).

Thanks in advance for anyone who can show me the trick for getting rid of the residual red bublles and such in the right-hand margin.

since nobody answered my post, I'll answer it - sort of like whacking off with a typewriter.

Seriously though, I went back and found a way to get rid of the many red 'bubbles' in the right column. I had to right click each one individually and then click again to banish it. However, does anyone know of a way to banish all of them with just a few well-placed clicks - because the one-by-one method is time consuming as it applies to my document.
