Reporting To Police

Featured Replies

I am planning to move to an area , where there´s no near immigration office, and plan to do my 90 day reporting by post to Bangkok. I think i read some where that if you move to a new area , on your arrival you have to report to the nearest police station...? can any one please confirm this is correct and what would i need to show the police etc. its look like the nearest immigration office to where i am planning to move to is the Aranyaphratet border crossing point. has any one done a 90 day rerorting here , and if so what was it like ....?

THANKS ............

You could post the TM47 form to Immigration HQ in Bangkok.

Here is the form:

Send it with EMS to them and attach a pre addressed return envelope with sufficent stamps.

Not sure if a police station know how to handle this matter though.

Thanks George.... Am i right in thinking that when i move to a new area , i have to any way reoprt to a local police station.... ?

THANKS.....

Yes, within 24 hours, according to the infromation on your TM card. But your landlord/houseowner should at least report that you are staying in the house.

Someone else here might have more details about how to do.
