For Sale: Bowers And Wilkins 685 Speakers

New 2007 model B&W 685 standmount speakers (pair) in red cherry finish.

True audiophile speakers from one of the world's most respected high-end brands. For a small to medium sized room, you'll be hard pressed to do better than these for less than 80,000 Baht. Smooth, dynamic and incredibly musical with great bottom end extension belying their compact size.

These speakers have recently won the coveted EISA 2007/2008 awards for the best compact loudspeaker in Europe, and have been winning huge amounts of praise from all that have bought or reviewed them.

When What Hi-Fi? reviewed these speakers in their September 2007 issue, they had this to say: "These B&W speakers are endlessly musical and thoroughly enjoyable across a wide range of material", and "The stage the B&W's present is deep, wide and tall, and the 685's effortlessly isolate and integrate instruments upon it. Fine details are retrieved and described without fuss, testing dynamic shifts dispatched imperiously and the overall presentation is one of smoothly integrated coherence", summarising their review with: "Don't buy any £500 speakers without hearing these".

These speakers were purchased from an authorized B&W retailer in Bangkok in July 2007, and are in as-new condition with all the original packaging and manuals. Original purchase receipts for 34,900 Baht will also be supplied to insure there's no problems with the remainder of the 5-year warranty (not that you'll need it!)

Buying substantially more expensive speakers (300K Baht), so the 685's need a new home! Selling for 28,000 Baht ONO. PM me if you're interested.
