Question On Thai To Usa Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Hi All,

When someone applies for a tourist visa from Thailand to USA.

The DS156 asks when you intend to go. If you ar enot positive & give a general time

of year is that sufficient?

Also if approved can anyone tell me how long or say how big of a window it has for leaving?

If for instance we put December 07 as intended trip date & the visa is approved. When must you leave by or how long is the visa good for leaving on?

I have read that once you reach the USA they usually stamp for a 6 month stay. But I am more curious about the usage time frame on the Thailand side.

Any Help Appreciated

Thank You

Mike

All I have ever read is that you get a 10 year multiple entry visa, so I would guess anytime in the next ten years.

10 multi entry is all I have seen in the past couple of years, I think mainly due to the fact that they now have to interview everyone, even those that have had visas in the past that were given new ones almost automaticly.
