Having moved from Thailand to the UK, we are finding it hard to find good nappies for our son...

In Thai he used to wear mamy poko pull ups. He is 11 months and very active, he has also started walking. But he is not that big and no way fat (about 7 kilos). It seems impossible to find any pull up nappies for babies under 9 kilos! (and most are for 11kg +) The choice in general only seems to be huggies / pampers / supermarket own.

Has anyone else found a way around this? At the moment he uses normal pampers and they just don't seem to be as good.

Cheers,

Other than that though he has settled into the UK fine :o

If you have a LIDL near you they do a french brand called Cien, they are fantastic. I used pampers, huggies as well as local supermarket (tesco, sainsbury) own brands & none come close & either cut into his skin or leaked badly. They do a pull up pant for babies over 9lbs but I haven't used them prefering the tab seal nappies instead but am more than happy & everyone I know who has used this brand will not go back to other brands. Their wet wipes are really good too. 99pence a pack & they are the only ones which didn't give my son a rash & are still moist when you get to the end of the pack.

Ah thanks,

I'll have a look. My son is not that fussed, but he moves around a lot and yes we have found that the pampers leak.

cheers

Pardon my ignorance - it's been a long while since I bought a packet of nappies (one of the happiest days of my life actually :o ), but aren't pull ups designed for potty training? I thought they were less absorbant so the child gets the sensation of wetting earlier thus spurring her on to make it to the loo
