2nd Tourist Visa Uk - Drop Box / By Post

Featured Replies

I need to apply for a 2nd Tourist visa for my g/f to visit uk, we are based in Chinag Rai and really can't be arsed to go to Bangkok - is it possible to do this by post - I've heard drop box mentioned but also read it does'nt exist anymore ?

Can I assume now we have been through this once it'll be plain sailing the 2nd time ?

As always appreciate the help.

In terms of qualification, the process should be plain sailing, but they do now require people to give their dabs and general biometric data in person.

Scouse.

It's only plain sailing if she stuck to the terms she requested with the first visa and provides the same proof and evidence again that she did for the first visa. She will have to present it in person but it can be returned to you by courier if you do not wish to collect in person.

Can I hand in the application or does she also have to make the journey ?

She has to make the journey and present the application as she will need to give her biometric details.

Cheers scouse, you should get a MBE is in the post.

When you say Biometrics is this finger prints ? We didnt do that before ?

Biometrics are being rolled out at all UK posts abroad and have been in place in Bangkok for a few months now. Your g/f will have a digital photo taken and will have to give her fingerprints.

Scouse.
