Residents in Narathiwat are warned of possible flash flood

The Deputy Governor of Narathiwat, Mr. Pradit Sukhonthasawat (ประดิษฐ์ สุคนธสวัสดิ์), has warned residents in Narathiwat province to be alert of potential natural disasters during the next couple of days.

Following a warning of heavy rain issued by the Southern Meteorological Center, Mr. Pradit has urged people living in plains and foothills to be careful of possible flash flood and torrential rain. He has assigned all district chiefs and Disaster Mitigation and Prevention officers in the southern province to be ready for providing assistance to the troubled people.

For assistance, public members can call the Narathiwat Provincial Disaster Mitigation and Prevention Office at 0-7353-2132 or 0-07353-2134.
