Business English And/or Business Writing Course Book

Featured Replies

has anyone used and can recommend a business english and/or business writing course book?

thanks!

Writing for the Real World 2 Published by Oxford is the best business writing coursebook I have used - it concentrates solely on e-mails though.

I understand Writing for the Real World 1 covers general writing. I've never seen this book but based on how good book 2 is I would certainly consider checking it out.

For general Busines English use the Business English Vocabulary in Use books (elementary, intermediate and Advanced) by Bill Mascull.

I have put together an integrated course outline using Business Start-Up 1 with supplements taken from the Business English Vocab in Use and Essentaal Grammar in Use series. PM me with your e-mail address if you want me to send you a copy.

The Market Leader books by Longman in conjunction with The Financial Times are also excellent course books to use IMO.
