my girlfriend got a 6 month visitor visa for uk,

she only applied for 1 month,im guessing thats because 6 month comes as standard....right?????

just wondering....

as one friend had his girlfriend visit uk for a short holiday,1 month i think,and her visa was somehow noted to be only valid for 1 month.

truth of the matter is that she has a 6 month visa ,so thats that?or is there some sort of regulation?

or is there anything to look at on visa.....marked or something???

just that i wouldnt mind her staying a bit longer,but dont want to mess things up with immagration and such.

The visa is valid for six months and your girlfriend can lawfully stay in the UK whilst the visa is valid. However, should she then apply for a subsequent visit visa, she may face difficulties, having previously stayed longer than stated.
