is it just me or did something major change with the layout/format here?

it use to be easy to read a page of many posts

then go to the next page

it also use to be easier to find the last post read and read on from there

maybe i havn't got the new system down yet but from the first few posts i've read today, i know the old way was much easier for me and a lot less mouse clicks

what do you think?

maybe it was a thai immigration policy change on the thai visa forum

i am not sure of the technical term for the new format that maps the posts lists

i can see how ihis map might be helpful for some people but not for me

it would be better to go back to the old way or at least put the post numbers on the new map list i now see

without the numbers of the posts, i am lost, and way too many clicks to be made just to read what was once a list of posts on a page, simple and straight forward

am i not getting something?

I must say i like the old way much better as well. To many clicks to read posts. I thought i could change it in settings but no luck there......

you gotta go to options in the upper right of the 1st thread post and change the display mode. I had same prob a while back and woulda quit the forum rather than deal with that. I went to tech support and asked but figured it out a few minutes later

In fact, once you get that setting right you will see more posts per page than b4. Recently, they increased it from a few dozen to about 40 I think. Makes for smoother sailing than b4. cheers

Click "options" top right of the first post and choose display mode 'standard' and all will be fine.

For some reason this setting changes occasionally, nobody knows why
