In a telephone interview with The New York Times in 2023, when Mr. Routh was in Washington, he spoke with a self-assuredness of a seasoned diplomat who thought his plans to support Ukraine’s war effort were sure to succeed. But he appeared to have little patience for anyone who got in his way. When an American foreign fighter seemed to talk down to him in a Facebook message he shared with The New York Times, Mr. Routh said, “he needs to be shot.” In the interview, Mr. Routh said he was in Washington to meet with the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, known as the Helsinki Commission “for two hours” to help push for more support for Ukraine. The commission is led by members of Congress and staffed by congressional aides. It is influential on matters of democracy and security and has been vocal in supporting Ukraine. -

Tests for Heart, High blood pressure issues
I had my heart attack almost 2 decades ago, stent inserted, meds since. Cardiologist said, diet, exercise and you will live 20 to 30 if not more years. I have done that just that and no issues thus far, that said, I would visit him every 2 year, then 3 years when returning to my home land, every 5 years an echocardiogram stress test, all good. I asked him about a CTC test and he said, I wouldn't worry about it, and that he didn't recommend it for his patients. Make of that what you will. I thought he might be trying to save the system $'s as Medicare might have paid for it, and told him that I would pay for it, could even be done when I returned to Thailand, he looked at me, and said, look, I have been seeing you for almost 2 decade, your blood work is good, your weight is good, your diet is good, save your money, but if you want it, then it's up to you, but as I said, I don't recommend it to my patients. Perhaps it's best not to know, who knows what one will find if they look into it....LOL -

What tragic cases like this confirm is that people who enter the US illegally are Homo sapiens, and as such they are just as capable of murder as other Homo sapiens, say, native-born white guys with closets full of AK-47s. Statistics show that native-born Americans cause crime at a greater rate than immigrants (whether they entered the US legally or not). There’s tons of research showing this. And as for this particular immigrant, it’s a matter for law enforcement, whether they incarcerate him or eventually deport him back to the DR for incarceration there. -

It's no wonder people like John Mearsheimer don't volunteer for office, or the great economic Nobel winners. Who would want to live like this?
