I forgot to mention that the price will depend on the engine size of the bike,in my case 750cc.

As funny as it my sound try the bus company. I shipped a Honda AirBlade (I know its not a 750cc bike) from Pattaya to Korat on the bus. It fit in the luggage compartmet all they had to do was take off the mirrors because they stood up to high. It cost me 800 baht, not a bad deal. Came through without a scratch.

Hi, Im led to believe that the post office will ship to where you want quite reasonably. Just go into your local PO and enquire, saves on getting it shipped from your place to station etc. :o

Indeed that is true Dunc -- I have seen motorbikes wrapped up in our local PO ready for mailing. I can't recall the price but I remember thinking that it was quite reasonable.

No trains to Loei. Udon would be the place to go by if by train.

Are there any factories around where you're at? If there are you might ask if there are workers from Loei working there. They'll usually have large truck going back and forth taking the workers home, returning them to work etc. The transportation is normally not through the factory, but someone from Loei trying to earn a living.

Post Office will be the best bet if you are not near a train station, amazing that they provide this service and I understand the cost is very minimal.
