November 2, 200718 yr Hi there my wife is going for a interview next week at the Brithish embassy for a settlement visa ,does any one know what questions will be asking so she can have some sort of idea of what there will be asking,i take it that it will be mostly about us.
November 3, 200718 yr I think you have answered your own question! For my wife, it was how we met, why she wanted to go to the UK, whether she could make somtam (seriously) - presumably to check whether she really worked on a food stall (she did, but they didn't sell Somtam)! They also asked her to stand-up (I kid you not) and asked about her little boy. She emerged extremely bemused. The interview was in Thai but she had reasonable English then (excellent now) and understood all that was said between the interpreter and ECO.
